On the subject of Man Utd...
Cracking goal by Lingard tonight. I like him, did well against Portugal too.

Maarten Stekelenburg on a season-long loan

I've always thought of him as a decent keeper. Has Forster got a return date?

Rumours very strong on Cech now. That would be a fantastic signing for us. *Gulp*.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
Papers keep linking Newcastle with Austin but I'm pretty certain Newcastle won't pay the £15m asked whilst West Ham and others would, Bas Dost is the more likely.
Austin would also stick with London anyway. Assuming West Ham bid the £15 million then I'd call it a done deal.

Nathaniel Clyne for £12.5m down from £15m. What happened at Southampton did they pity Liverpool?

Finances are rather tight down there in Hampshire so l guess they will take what they are offered.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
Having watched the others bomb their careers there you'd have thought he would have gone anywhere but.
Alderweireld to spuds is classic comedy too - another sideways move.
Obviously more interested in a fat pay packet than ambition....

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
Remember it does generally take a while for players to bed in but rest assured if that does not happen this season you can have them all back at a very reasonable price Sir.
Who wants to join the second club in Hampshire as l am sure there are better options elsewhere.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
l sense there is a disturbance in the force for Southampton and it does appear to be a foreboding in store for those down at St Mary's next season.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
It will be interesting to see if brenda can bring out the best from the players he is buying.
Scattercash mode doesn't guarantee success as he proved spectacularly last season.
As far as Schneiderlin is concerned I really don't have a clue. He should go to Arsenal if he has any sense.
The difference between him and clyne is the contract term left, hence a much higher fee ( that and he is a much better player )
So we will lose 2 players, Ronald has already replaced one.......
