Yeah - well Homer, he's so miserable about 'his' team losing, i don't think it would have made any difference if she'd been here in the room with him!

both games today didn't really follow the script, did they - I think it's good, both Scotland & Wales will have gained some confidence & France & England got a rocket - it can only get better

Re: rugby talk
Go on the Welsh.....
Ok, so Scotland put in a solid performance for 50 or 55 minutes of the game. On the other hand, France where woefull, but dont forget they had a number of young players on the pitch. All in all I think Scotland did stirling work in Paris, ans got thoff to a good start.
As foe the England/ Wales match......
England where dire. Ball was too slow on the set-peice plays, too many handling errors, to much confusion. But again England had a lot of young/ inexperienced players out there today. Wales on the other hand really showed England how to play the game, at times anyway. Superb game of rugger.
But dont forget IRELAND are playing Italy tomorrow, and with a bit of luck can get a good chunk of points on the board. At the same time, Italy can be a tricky side to play, and can surprise any team they play against.
All in all, I think I'll be posting on here Sunday evening about how Ireland are at the top of the pile.

Re: rugby talk
Thankfully for you lot my keyboard was playing up last night so all I could post was smilies....
Who cares if we've got other teams to play......
Who cares if they're going to beat us......
Who cares if we don't win the whole tournament......
As long as we beat the English, we don't care...
And we did!

Re: rugby talk
Here we are another busy Six Nations weekend and right now the Italy & Wales game is quite exciting. Looks like a gloomy end for the Italians but at least they are trying hard. tomorrow England & France should be interesting.

In a years time?
If France beat England tomorrow, Ireland go above England in the world rankings.
England and France both have to come to Lansdowne, I feel confident of Ireland beating them both. If Wales beat France and Italy it would set up a cracking showdown for the Grandslam at the Millennium Stadium.

Re: rugby talk
Wales played some fantastic moves today against the Italians, cant wait for the big bust up with Ireland in Cardiff, not sure what will happen for the France match but they are as fired up now like they have not been for a loooooong time! Tickets are over £300 a pair for the Millenium match!
