And Wenger has joked that Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa - linked with the north London club and reported to have a £32m buy-out clause - would cost more like £145m.

I only posted because it said "joked". Clarifying that it wasn't serious.
Not sure how much i would pay, but remembering that a good striker is worth paying a premium, given the dross you could buy for £35 million..eg Carroll

That was under previous management which also got Suarez for a snip given his current value and praise be to god good old Sam managed to give us back £15 million for the useless Carroll.

In spite of nffc's protestations, Rochdale are one of the three teams I follow/support, born in Rochdale, taken to my first ever game of football at what was then Wilbutts Lane by my grandfather, many moons ago now.
As a Red as well, seeing the Dale beat Leeds was really sweet.
