In 'present form'??
Let's face it, United play much more attractive football.

But that not what I asked!!!!! Milan played very attractive football but did it win anything ? Anyways it's far too early to be baiting you really. Let's see how the qualifying goes.

Re: The Football Thread 2005/2006 Season
You won't bait us. You'll be too busy thinking up excuses as to why last season's winners don't get past the semis

Re: The Football Thread 2005/2006 Season
well depends if you support Man U, Everton or Rangers
still it's not over yet but if any team looses now they go into the UEFA Cup
thought Wisla Krakow had a great result last night coming from a goal behind.. interesting to see how Artmedia Bratislava do tonight after knocking out Celtic

Yeah but the ref was bought.
2-1 down with 1/2 hr to go and 11 men is achievable. And when Leitao was "fouled" he was already on his ass and the ball going past and out of play.
Not a penalty, and not a red card.
Had that not happened, we had ample chance to claw it back.
Merson shook hands with the ref after the game... wonder what he said?

Re: The Football Thread 2005/2006 Season
Well I heard walsall were on top at 2-1 and were looking for a 3rd anyway and you played better after you had the man sent off. So you by all means wouldnt have come back if you had 11 men. Of course I agree that ref mistakes suck and they all becoming all too common in the game.
