Re: World Cup 2006 Thread
Hurts dont it?
I mean its only taken yet another 4 years for England to show that not one of those players deserved to wear the team shirt they were gifted.
We should retire from international football until we have a team that can play football, a few forwards that know where a goal is placed on the field and how to kick a ball. We need a team that can remember which direction of play the ball should be going instead of gaining 30 yards to pass the ball all the way back. And we need to drop crouch and pretend we never even entertained him as a professional footballer.
Mind you crouch is talented at losing the ball, running in a half arsed manner and generally doing nothing......he did put a few good tackles in......on himself though.

Re: World Cup 2006 Thread
Right then, which excuse shall we chose this time? Rooney being sent off? Poor penalty takers? Sven not being in it 100%? The heat? The Portugese?

Why don't you give it a rest? You harp constantly on about how the media only cover England and how tiresome it is but let's be honest, it's no more boring that your constant jibes, we lost because Portugal in the end played better than we did.

Re: World Cup 2006 Thread
At least England beat Germany 5-1, we can see that replayed time and time again.
Plus England did beat Paraguay, Trinidad & tobago and Ecudor, all top teams.

Re: World Cup 2006 Thread
How about a new football anthem for the british team?
God save our football team, give us a winning team,
God coach our team.
Send them to training school
t'learn how to play football
long to train how to play
God save out team!
