Hi,
The link is for both new and existing customers, clicking on the link and following the instructions will upgrade your speed on the spot.
Calling customer services will also get you upgraded.
Other than that you can wait till your config file is sent to you but lets be honest with a million customers to upgrade theres no one gonna guarantee that you'll get it today. They will be rolling this one out slowly if anything just to watch the impact it has on the network and the customer services.
1 million people cannot be upgraded at the same time just the same as customer services will not be able to take 1 millions calls from people wanting to upgrade. Ntl always have and always will have to stagger upgrades on dtv and broadband due to the size of their network.

Phone back and say you don't like having the phone put down on you.

Re: New Speed Upgrades 8th March. (Part 3)
I'm on an STB, no upgrade here, Can't use that page to upgrade either, it says you need to have a cable modem, it does say that you can call them though.
Looks like stb users are second class citizens again, I guess we will be paying the same for a lower service for another few months like last time

Is the 1GB cap hard or soft?
I have just re-installed XP and need to download SP2 along with STEAM to install about 2gb of HalfLife2 and counterstrike / Day of defeat apps which ive paid for.

So you expect everyone with an STB to request a SACM, not exactly practical, the point is that STB users are always last, but never told this..
