Re: Rate the last movie you saw
It was OK Den. Not as good as the first two, however there is an interesting plot twist. Worth watching, although I'd borrow it rather than paying for the dvd

I would actually class it as the best of the trilogy although 2 is by far the worst.

The Plank.
It's decades since I last saw it but I was chortling before the punchlines - I'd remembered it so well.

Tom Clancy's Act of Valour
I'll give it 3/10 for spelling valour correctly. Other than that it's the ultimate proof that "real" Navy Seals shouldn't be acting (and Tom Clancy should probably retire). Blimmin dreadful as expected.

Re: Rate the last movie you saw
You need to watch The Raid. Everyone (over 18) needs to watch The Raid.

Ah yeah that was one of the feature ads on the Act of Valour BD. Just checked the reviews on Empire and it looks like a top evening's entertainment.

Unfortunately, Tom Clancy used to produce excellent books and produced some excellent films from his books (Patriot Games in particular). Now, he seems to have effectively retired and just licences his name seemingly for anything.
So, while seeing the name "Tom Clancy" on the cover of a book or video used to be a sign that that book or film was probably a good, taught, thriller, the only thing it signifies now is that Tom has sold his name to someone else.
That's not to say everything produced is bad. It's not. Some of the games are excellent, as, I am sure, the next Jack Ryan film will be.
