Well it's better they do that than get people to add it on and then phone back and complain when they don't get the Khan fight

I've just found the following link:
http://my.virginmedia.com/customer-n...BoxNation.html
"Will the Khan fight be on BoxNation?
The Amir Khan fight scheduled for 10th December won’t be on BoxNation as it’s showing on Sky Sports 1. To upgrade your TV package to include Sky Sports visit www.virginmedia.com/skysports."
So the guy who spoke to me was on the money and not just free styling
Can I confirm is this £10.00 for multiroom or £10.00 per Virgin box? SKY is £10.00 per box!

I'll tell you what, £10.00 for multiroom and the fact you only need to keep the channel for 30 days is pretty good. Whilst SKY customers got the channel free for 2 months, it's the Virgin customers who are getting the better deal.
Unfortunately for Boxnation SKY customers are having all sorts of problems adding the service:
http://www.facebook.com/BoxNationTV
I hope they can sort this out shortly as I really want Boxnation to be a success. The more customers the better.
Also the Boxnation site has now been updated. Total overhaul:

Sky customers who subscribe before 8pm on the 1st of December will also be entered into the draw to win a pair of VIP ringside passes to our massive ‘This Town’s Not Big Enough’ event at the Liverpool Echo Arena on Friday 9th December featuring James DeGale.
sky customers getting even more freebies!

That's very kind of you. I'm just very passionate about boxing. It's been hard to get real international coverage on TV since Setanta went bust.
Like everyone I knock Virgin from time to time, but when they do deliver for their customers they try to do it right.
I find it crazy that SKY customers have to pay £20.00 per month to watch the channel in 2 separate rooms, and be tied down to 6 month contracts.
Through time it would be great if Virgin could agree an on demand service with Boxnation.

Agreed, Sky is the best in the world if you're a big fan of wanking money away.

Re: BoxNation on Virgin Media?
The thing I'd like to know here is who stipulates the multiroom box charge on Sky as BoxNation sell the channel , as a potential subscriber on Sky you order direct with BN I believe.

It's Boxnation themselves I believe according to info posted on Facebook. Don't Premier Sports charge by the box too?
Well here's the listings for the 01st December 2011:
1.30pm - 3.30pm - Maccarinelli Vs. Marosi
3.30pm - 5.30pm - Cleverly Vs. Bellew
5.30pm - 7.30pm - Hopkins Vs. Dawson
7.30pm - 8.00pm - Box Nation - Are you in?
8.00pm - 9.00pm - Chavez Jr. Vs. Manfredo Jr.
9.00pm - 11.00pm - Broner Vs. Martin / Alvarez Vs. Cintron
11.00pm - 1.00am - Burns Vs. Katsidis
I've been avoiding the results from Saturdays Broner Vs. Martin / Alvarez Vs. Cintron
card hoping they would repeat the fight this week.

Possibly , it's strange as BSKYB sell MUTV , Chelsea TV and ESPN and these don't incur another sub for your multiroom box.

They seem to be saying it's Sky?
Quote:
Afraid that's right. We are talking to Sky to see if there is a way around this, but for now - it's £10 per box. Looks like the recordable box might be a good solution for you tho!

I can believe that , seems the other channels I mentioned sell via Sky maybe that's why their channels are included as multiroom.

You know what, I think Boxnation are still very much in their infancy and are still just taking baby steps. They are getting lots of feedback and suggestions via Facebook already on how they can improve their service. Personally I think that you should only ever have to pay 1 fee to watch a channel throughout your home, regardless of how many boxes you have.
I'm sure Boxnation will in time review their multi-room policy.....that's if they even have a clear one at the moment. I'm just going by the posts on Facebook today back and fourth between potential customers and Boxnation.

From what I can see SKY are in noway affiliated with the sale of Boxnation on the SKY platform. Frank Warren / Boxnation really don't like SKY

I suspect a technical limitation rather than an evil moneymaking scheme. BoxNation don't know which cards are linked on your Sky account, so can only put it onto the card number you specify. It would be open to fraud if you could provide a list of card numbers.
