Floppy hair was so me (when I had hair to be floppy with)....
West Yorkshire was great in the 80's for agitprop like the three johns (playing at Brixton 18th Nov this year). Seen the 3johns myspace site? http://www.threejohns.co.uk/
I used to go see New Model Army, Joolz, Gang of Four, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, Sisters of Mercy, Southern Death Cult, Wedding Present, Heaven 17 - just because I had floppy hair, baggy shirts, pointy shoes and centre-right politics, didn't mean I couldn't enjoy good music.
Or as we use to say "Frack politics, let's party!!!!!"
