Apparently the team applying for permission to change the name; this will be discussed in a meeting at Bahrain.
"There is talk of Sauber changing its name, which is entirely logical given the horribly messy BMW Sauber Ferrari tag which makes the teeth of branding specialists stand on end. I understand that there will be a Formula 1 Commission meeting to discuss the matters of the moment in Bahrain, so we will learn more about this and probably about the rules for 2011 as well."

Very worrying is the tyre issues, They should have opened up the track to a lot of car clubs to lay down some rubber

That Virgin car looks like a real handful - understeer and oversteer, and very very twitchy. Clearly the testing hasn't helped.....

What testing? I seem to recall it kept breaking and they had no spares

That sounds a tad harsh.......
I heard it was basically reliable but kept leaking fluid from the diff. It was a tolerance issue more than a failure as such.
Lets hope they get it up to speed 'cos it looks good.

Sorry - It's what stood out in my memory. I know they're trying to put it together without using a wind tunnel so maybe that is contributing too.

Re: Formula 1 2010 Season [may contain real time spoilers]
OK Next stop qually
So far;
Ferrari looking in control but, Mercedes are breathing down their neck.
Rosberg has had the beating of Schumacher so far; Is the old dog keeping his powder dry and about to blitz qually is or Rosberg REALLY on it. My prediction could be dead already
Hulk faster the Rubens; Maybe age has caught up Barrichello ?
Virigin quicker than Lotus, but reliability an issue. The loose wheel in practice was down to incorrectly setting the torque on the wheel guns, that's careless and could them a big fine I suspect.
Looking good

I think Schumy did well, considering that buy his own admission, he is a little rusty, and his car seemed off the pace.
