I am a yido, and my god, that was some game, Harry the magican again, l honestly thought that is was going to end in a draw, but when that goal went in, all my family, jumped up and we went mad, we won't go down, l can see in the transfer window, Harry will bring in a couple of strikers, Bent and Shenco need help up front, this time Daniel Levy, you have pulled off a master stroke, and it has worked.

Re: Football : Season 08/09
Why was Toure celebrating Stoke's first goal for?
Great ball control for Stoke's second goal...
...Van Persil lead the charge superbly...
...and when will Utd learn that they have to play the whole 90 mins?

Re: Football : Season 08/09
I can't believe that one player could bring down a football club
Quote:
Daniel Levy has claimed that Dimitar Berbatov twice refused to play for Tottenham as he looked to secure a move away from the club.
The Bulgarian striker joined Manchester United at the end of the summer after months of speculation about his future.
Spurs had struggled on the pitch before Berbatov's departure and Levy believes the whole transfer saga had unsettled the squad.

Nothing to do with Ramos then..

Re: Football : Season 08/09
Being a yido, please let me clear one thing up concerning Berba, the *******, and Ramos.
It was quite clear from statements, that l read and the strong rumour, that was at The Lane, Berba, was not selected as his attitude at Spurs stank, we have always been known as an attacking side, and we wanted to see the back of him, he was poor on the pitch, and of course his partnership with Keano, produced some great wins, we knew from the previous transfer window, he wanted to go, so why Spurs didn't let him go as Utd, wanted him on the cheap, Ramos could never understand him, and that is why he wasn't selected, look at him now, at United, l just feel sorry for him when he returns to WHL, the fans will rip him to pieces.
Spurs, have always been great to past players, but not the way Keano went or Berba, at the moment the great players of the past ARE still welcome at WHL, Chivers, Jennings etc, and now we have Harry the magican, it will be a tough season, and we won't go down. , I just hope Newcastle lose, on Monday.

ROFL. OK, so it's allegedly real, but I still have visions of a 419-style letter to Ashley...
