If they say it is not available tell them "You know several people who have had their connection upgraded through C/S this morning and to check again/ask supervisor". The new codes are available on the system.
Then leave it about an hour if it doesnt automatically change reboot your cable modem and you should have been upgraded.

Re: New Speed Upgrades 8th March. (Part 3)
WHen I enter my username (the promary one i chose for my ntlworld email right?) It says it is not associated with my modem:
The username (EDITED.cooper111) entered is not the registered subscriber associated with this cable modem. Please go back and try again with your cable modem username and password. If you need further help, please contact our customer support (0800 052 2000).

It has been said that not everyone is going to be upgraded today, the new speeds have launched for new customers from today and some existing customers in some areas have also been upgraded.

Yes I know someone in Bromley, well Orpington who has been upgraded.
What STB you got? For speeds over 1mbps you will need to arrange a box swap for a samsung.

I don't see anything in the poll to distinguish between CM & STB.

Re: New Speed Upgrades 8th March. (Part 3)
Hey Everyone,
Just to point out there is now something official on NTL's website:
http://www.home.ntl.com/page/broadbandexisting
They do say though that you should wait and the upgrade would be automatic....
Phil.

I may just go for the 1MB service and pay a couple more £ a month for extra bandwidth.

I couldn't upgrade on the website and rang customer services. The lady said hold on I'll do it for you now, she came back about a minute later and said you'll be upgraded in the next few weeks. I told her I'd just spoken to people who'd been upgraded. She started to get uppity then hung up. <Mod Edit (Chris T) Needless insulting comment removed>.
