4th of July I think. Rangers should tell them to stuff it and take the hit going down the div 3. They'll be joined by Hearts, Kilmarnock and a couple of others soon enough.

If Rangers get rejected, then there is little point in watching Scottish Prem football anymore as Celtic will have a clear run at the title every season. Will get very boring to watch.
And nice to see Arsenal spending some money in the markets this summer. Hopefully they can build on last season, even if they do lose van Persie and Walcott.

If Rangers do shut down, can Celtic move to the EPL?

There are a number of football clubs around the world that are based in one country/territory but play in another's football league. Conditions for competing in a "foreign" league, as well as in a continental/confederational competition, are set case-by-case by FIFA as well as the respective confederation and national football associations involved.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Why do people insist on calling it the EPL according to the Premier League website there is no mention of it being the EPL.
It is the Barclays Premier League administered by the Premier League.

So whats stopping the FA/UEFA/FIFA from helping both the English and Scottish games by allowing Celtic to move to the English Leagues?

So it does not gen confused with other sports leagues which also have the name "Premier League" in them (SPL, IPL etc)

The English leagues just won't allow this scenario to happen.

Well it would have benefit both them and the Scottish Leagues, they did not have any issue allowing the biggest Welsh clubs into the English Leagues!

One is performing surprisingly well in the Premiership and the other in languishing in the Championship.
They (plus the other Welsh club you missed out) meet the criteria to play in the FA's leagues.

You're under the assumption that Celtic want to play in England and that the SFA would allow them to leave.

I am only suggesting the ides so that Celtic does not keep winning the SPL all the time and give othe Scottish teams a chance! (if not then Celtic and maybe Rangers should pay in the Atlantic League)
Is there anything in the FA criteria about how Non-English Teams to play in the English Leagues?
Also why on earth have we got to a point where we are the only nation on earth with 2 or 3 diffrent league systems?

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
On the one hand, I think Rangers ought to be allowed to stay in the Premier League because otherwise Celtic get a clear run at the league every season. On the other hand though, Rangers were happy to not pay taxes for such a long period of time that demotion to at least Scottish Division 3 would be better for the whole of Scottish football.
As for Celtic in the Premier League of England, no chance in Hell. At the very minimum if they want to take part in English football then they would have to start (in my mind anyway) at the very least in the Blue Square Premier and work their way up to the Premier League.
I have been a long time critic of the fact that Cardiff, Swansea, Wrexham, Newport and Colwyn Bay can play in English leagues. It is not fair that they have a chance to play in the English leagues when the Welsh FA wouldn't let an English team like Shrewsbury or Telford play in their league. Hypocrisy.
Out of interest, what is the criteria for the Welsh teams to be allowed to play in the English leagues?

If it isn't broken, why try to fix it?

Probably the same criteria that allows English teams to play in the Welsh league (Shrewsbury) and Scottish league (Berwick).
