Re: Who Is Getting Fit This Year?
I do have a low pain tolerance and it did help when I went to the pool but the doc told me to stop as my neck was really sore. I cant swim really and I hate putting my head in the water so it was putting a big strain on an old injury I have on my neck

Re: Who Is Getting Fit This Year?
Due to it raining really bad I coudn't do my walking but I done some exercises around the house. Dont know if that is as good as walking or not but at least I was on the move and I suppose every step of exercise counts

Re: Who Is Getting Fit This Year?
Well done everyone taking part.
I am currently on the final stretch of 'getting into shape' following a loss of almost 7 stone over about five years. So it's encouraging to see others doing well also.
I'm in the toning up stage and it's proving to be rather annoying as I'm not making progress as fast as I would like. But I've been going 5 years...another few months or a year won't hurt!

Re: Who Is Getting Fit This Year?
It comments like yours that help you get through it. So thanks very much.
That is still a problem area for me. I have quite a bit of loose skin on my stomach from all the weight loss. There is still fat there, even after all this time so I need to stick at it.
Basically keep at the cardio. I also attend Pilates twice a week and do a Body Pump class. I suspect once the skin tightens up, I should have some kick ass abs. They are there somewhere!
