Best wait until they've counted the postal votes.

That'll only make the Leave vote bigger, as postal votes are disproportionately the plaything of pensioners who are more likely to be leavers.

Leave is 10,500 to the good in Swindon.

Not what I was alluding to. The outcome of presidential vote in Austria was "changed" by the postal votes.

Portsmouth and Southampton originally projected at 50/50 now looking like 60/40 for Leave.

Damien will remember his team being 4-0 up once and drawing the game. Remain clearly need a Tiote right now.
Oh and Trump is running for the White House... Are these signs Harold Camping warned us of? On the wrong date every time. After taking everyone's money and of course never giving it back.

Would the North East heavily favouring leave be a Surprise? I get the Newcastle one was close but was Sunderland expected to be anything other than a landslide? Notorious Tory haters. As reported earlier in interviews. People that haven't voted since Thatcher have turned out to get one over.

re: [Update] The UK votes to leave the EU
Am I being dim or is the statement of "16.8 million votes needed to win referendum" nonsense when there may of only been 23 people that went out to vote?
where's he got 16.8 million from?

re: [Update] The UK votes to leave the EU
Would've been interesting if the vote was hypothetical in nature. IE Vote on the issues, but wouldn't necessarily leave the EU. How many people agreed with "Leave", but voted "Remain" scared of the possible impact?

That's why this vote is so interesting. It's not Conservative vs Labour, but more the People vs The Establishment.
And just as I type this, the BBC think Hartlepool, a strong labour area, will vote strongly leave.

I think Labour are using the scenario of people voting against the Tory government as an excuse. They have completely lost any sense of where working class Labour voters are coming from and how much they dislike interference from the EU.
