because in the UK you vote for a party and the party manifesto, not for an individual like in the US.

We're talking about leaders here, not the people who work in the EU.
The aim of some of the leaders of the EU is global government, and to them, the EU is a stepping stone along that route. Biblically we know that in the end times we will have global government, with a leader powered by the devil. Therefore there is a spiritual link between the elitists pushing for global government and those actually running the EU. Babylon was the first attempt at global government.
Germany has the Babylonian Ishtar gate, with links to occult deities; No one questions which country really runs the EU. The Bible is very clear that any occult idols or symbols should be removed because their presence can invite in demonic influence.
The question remains: Why would the EU purposely decide to put symbols associated with Babylon in their buildings and posters and include symbols commonly associated with the occult?
From the book of Revelation speaking of end times:
Revelation 18:3-5New International Version (NIV)
3 For all the nations have drunk
the maddening wine of her adulteries.
The kings of the earth committed adultery with her,
and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries.”
Warning to Escape Babylon’s Judgment
4 Then I heard another voice from heaven say:
“‘Come out of her, my people,’[ a]
so that you will not share in her sins,
so that you will not receive any of her plagues;
5 for her sins are piled up to heaven,
and God has remembered her crimes

I stick to people who have a solid Biblical perspective. Jesus warned us that many false prophets would come towards the end, warning that even some of the Elect would be deceived. I may be doing him an injustice, and I am very sorry if I am, but I seem to recall that he had some pretty weird ideas years ago. Of course, he may have changed and accepted Jesus as his Saviour?

re: [Update] The UK votes to leave the EU
Can we not have religion in this thread and talk of the devil seriously there are no shortage of threads for those types of discussion and this isn't one. Our local polling station was absolutely manic when I went up with a neighbour had to queue to get in the building never ever had that before in nearly 30 years of voting. If there is as it appears to be a high turnout for this referendum then our political class have to see they are the problem in elections with low turnout as this referendum shows the British are not politically apathetic they just need to have something they believe in to vote.
Stay in or leave (please please leave win) we need serious change in the uk or either path we voted today will be littered with problems if we don't have the right people handling things. If nothing else comes from this referendum it has finished Cameron and Osbourne so a decent start there now just got to clear the rest of the professional politicians out and get ordinary decent people into political positions.

re: [Update] The UK votes to leave the EU
I'm not going to read the Christian articles about Tower of Babel and other signs of the evils of the EU/Congress/other institute in the sight for that time, I've heard it all before.
I'm not saying that (some of) it is wrong, it may even be all true but the attitude of those that bring these things to light is not usually very loving or helpful.

YouGov say that's their final poll and it's not a prediction. Tonight will be close.

I also voted out because I believe Britain should have complete control of laws, taxes and borders etc. under the control a parliament that can be elected and unelected by British people alone. I feel sure that I've posted that elsewhere in the thread.
But the post seemed to be asking for spiritual reasons.

But it is those spiritual forces that are making the EU "a more liberal and secular Europe", one of the reasons you stated as a reason for voting out. And I agree with you, the EU is having an influence on Britain; all the more reason for breaking any spiritual ties.

I have no idea what just happened to the thread. That Jesus bloke managed to make an appearance. If he brings One Direction.. Then I'm out.

re: [Update] The UK votes to leave the EU
BBC tweet suggest 62% for leave in Sunderland. That would suggest leave winning big overall
