I am glad that FTTC is going up to 52mbps as I want to drop down anyway.

Here in Wales im yet to see a connection over 5mb on Plusnet.

A friend recently moved to them from Sky to save money, his line went from 11mb and he now has around 3.5mb and Plusnet says no problems can be found.

Just upgraded to 300/20 But will be downgrading tomorrow as you can see the upload has not improved

It was in no way related to Plusnet.

Seems to have improved a little to me. Speeds can and will vary.

I have modem SNR. We are Now on our 3rd engineer appointment and this is still ongoing they just can't seem to be able to fix this

I haven't upgraded to the 300mbit package but Ive just found that my sync speed is 300bit down and 40 up, but capped at the 200mbit package I pay for. maybe virgin are starting to move people to 300mbit anyway.

That's the first time I have seen anyone synced higher than their line speed. Is this something new? I thought with VM you got the speed you synced at?
