But that depends on your screen resolution. The image above is little more than half the screen width for me.

There are forum rules about this IIRC, can't remember what the allowed dimensions are but they suit fairly small screen sizes.

800x600 is a pretty good size to aim for. Don't forget some peeps are using small mobiles to browse the site. My old lappy is only 1024x768 so big pix muck it up as well.

Ironic really, my phone has been 1920x1080 for a couple years while my laptop is still 1280x800

When using the laptop it is 1366 x 768 so pictures put on full size stretch it out. When connected to a monitor it is 1920 x 1080 so it doesn't annoy me to the same degree.

I'm sure there's a forum rule about going off-topic, too.

If it stops people posting large sized pictures, then going off topic is worth it IMHO.

Re: Virgin Media to raise broadband and phone prices in Feb 2015
I've only just noticed my price increase and received no letter stating this. Also arranged a new price in Dec and they didnt mention the price increase.
Just rang them up about it now and said they won't lower it back down to the price agreed in Dec.
Price increase plus a crappy connection in the Evening are seriously making me think twice about staying with VM now. Although they said I cant leave until Dec.
Anything I can do about this??

Probably not, as I would think you missed the 30 day period for cancelling because of the increase.

The 30 day period starts from the day he is notified. If he can prove he has not been notified then the period cannot have been missed.

All depends when the bill was produced - if it was anywhere up to the 13th (ish) of February, then legally it's outside any notification period.
If the bill was produced mid Feb onwards, then it could be argued that you are still within a final 30 days notification. How far you'd get with that argument is a different matter.

Re: Virgin Media to raise broadband and phone prices in Feb 2015
First bill date with increase was 3rd Feb. I don't get paper bills so checked them today to notice the increase.
How would I prove that I haven't been notified? They said they sent a letter in Oct and in Dec which I didnt receive. The guy on the phone in Dec also didnt mention about the increase when we arrange a new price.

Re: Virgin Media to raise broadband and phone prices in Feb 2015
If you've been billed on the 3rd Feb, then your notice ran out 30 days later. This part of the terms apply
http://store.virginmedia.com/the-leg...es.html#ending
J3
If you were not notified of these changes in advance, you must give notice of cancellation of the services affected to us and/or Virgin Media Payments (as applicable) within 30 days of receipt of your first bill following such increase in charges.
