I reckon we've had about half a dozen in the last 10 years so maybe not quite like your mum...

Strangely enough we picked up the same two items today as its pasta salad tomorrow and roast on Wednesday.

Re: What have you just bought?
Iceberg lettuce. Smaller than usual and 20p more expensive but at least there were some and from Spain. A few pre-packed courgettes as well but no pick and mix.

Re: What have you just bought?
A Toyota Celica for hubby 2005 plate, 53,000 miles, FSH and I must say it is immaculate as it's been in the same family since new. Hubby said I'm not allowed to post a picture so as a woman I have made my avatar his new toy car (not really posting a picture in my mind) LOL

Re: What have you just bought?
A Daewoo slow cooker on offer from Robert Dyas, delivered free to my local Rymans.
We've never had a slow cooker so looking forward to trying it out

They make the meat so tender progers, colman's beef casserole mix suitable for slow cookers is a treat and always goes down within my household.

Re: What have you just bought?
A second white noise machine to drown out my deaf git neighbour, a new cooker, a new washing machine and a M.2 PCIE SSD, oh and a new cat toy. She hates it. 82p down the drain.

Re: What have you just bought?
Nice new leather bum bag. My current Lorenz one is falling to bits after long service. I actually wear it on the hip.

A new nvidia graphics card, a cool mechanical keyboard, a 2-in-1 WiFi / Bluetooth USB dongle, and a pair of drop pearl earrings for Mrs J.
