Re: Google Android
Opera has just released Opera for Android based on webkit which has a completely new look and extremely fast and polished, and seems a joy to use.
My only problem is i haven't found an option to import bookmarks yet.

Re: Google Android
The Android 4.3 update has started rolling out to UK-based Nexus 7 tablets. Mine got the update this morning. Not had much time for a proper play yet but it definitely seems a bit snappier.

Re: Google Android
It's supposed to be a lot better, especially around performance with proper TRIM support for Flash memory

Got my update yesterday afternoon.
Lag issues I was having seem to have gone, snappier as Lew mentioned and on the surface not much else to see.

I did read somewhere that the memory used in early N7's was very cheap and some devices are having issues, whether or not the added TRIM support will help those early adopters is yet to be seen.
Mine is just a few day away from its first birthday & I don't know if the memory installed in my device is one of the affected ones.

They have released the old version as "Opera Mobile Classic". I didn't like the Webkit version and I was glad that they released this.
When it updated to the Webkit version on mine, on the start page, there was a shortcut called legacy bookmarks that had my bookmarks in.

Re: Google Android
if ur looking for a good budget phone i can recommend this.....
http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/st...oductId=960536
The only downside is u only have around 850mb to use for apps out of the 4gb but if u have an SD card its fine. I loadsed all my Apps and done all the app updates on phone and i still have 575mb free which is more than ample for me with a 16GB card.
The Carphone warehouse wanted £149 for the same phone locked to orange and this one for £100 in Argos is sim free and u get a choice of free sims from any network.
