Well my comment was in jest, hence the smiley, but I won't apologise for asking you to back you a comment; which you were unable to actually do.

Agreed, but muppetman made a statement he has failed to back up. On it's own, not a biggie, but given the general overall critical attitude he has towards tivo, maybe it was right to ask him for evidence on this occasion?

I don't need to back anything up , just read the posts on here , they speak volumes , plus I couldn't care less what you or Carl thinks.

True, but most of the people giving opinions on here now, are people using Tivo, and they can share them from actuall experience.
All forums tend to have a bias towards people complaining about a product; people happy don't tend to post. So, people relying on forums to form their opinions, are generally getting a skewed view
Muppetman doesn't have tivo, so I'm sorry, but in my view, his opinions aren't as relevant as those who have the tivo and are posting from experience.
I can't recall anyone saying Tivo is perfect; it isn't. So where are these posts Muppetman is refering to?

And once again had double recordings, this time The Hotel Inspector, recorded todays ep even though I had it in My Shows from mondays broadcast and is set to "New only"
I read here that some folks dont see this multiple recordings as a problem, but as I said in my other posts, the more thats on the Tivo, the slower the box gets!
My wishlist still hasnt picked up The Apprentice/Alan Sugar. Gonna have to set up a SL while I remember.

Do you think you should recall your previous statement against Carl then? Since it can't be backed-up

Set up a SL for Apprentice, I was under the impression that this clever little Tivo would search for my wishlists and at least tell me the show is starting.
Thinking about it, I've had Tivo 2 weeks, and It has'nt told me or recorded a single thing from my wishlists. I have Lady Gaga wishlisted for my son, Tivo didnt even do anything about last weekends Lady Gaga day on MTV Hits.
2 weeks in and Im wondering why I spent money on Tivo and are paying £3 amonth from now on?
Very disappointed here.

Sorry if i'm asking the obvious here, but did you set the whishlist items to record? If you don't. it will just list them, but not record them.
I've had loads of whishlist shows record.
