Re: [Merged] Football talk
There is a phone in tonight on the local radio station between 6pm & 7pm, just click the listen live link.
The fans asking the director who purchased the ground some questions, it should be quite entertaining

Re: [Merged] Football talk
How politically savvie are you football nuts.
Here is a little quiz to test your abilitiies, I know you will google so go ahead.
1. Of the 92 Premier and Football League clubs in England and Wales, only seven are located in Conservative-held constituencies. Can you name them?
2. Only one of the present 20 Premiership grounds is not in a Labour-held constituency. Which one?
3. Which Premiership 'constituencies' are represented by the Home and Foreign secretaries?
4. Which neighbouring clubs are in the constituencies of the previous Home Secretary and the present Minister for Sport?
5. Which Premiership club have a manager with the same surname as their outgoing MP?
6. Which League Two club is in the only constituency in England that was not won by one of the three major parties at the last election?
7. Which League One club has an MP named Rooney?
8. Who were the last club to win the FA Cup under a Conservative government?
9. Name the four present Labour frontbenchers who share a surname with an FA Cup finalist from the years since Tony Blair came to power in 1997.
10. Name the three post-War England internationals who share a surname with a post-War British Prime Minister.
Going out now but will check back later.

ANY club having £200 million spent on players will win the title.
Put it this way - Chelsea didn't win it, Abramovich did.
