What a busy day they all had. They will be tired and too over excited to sleep tonight.

Yes, the game seems to be up for Boris Johnson. I have made no secret of the dim view I take of the Opposition and media tactics to concentrate on trivia to bring the PM down instead of concentrating on the issues important to people and the problems of the world. There has been, and still is, a concerted attempt to undermine BJ and see him out of office. People are understandably fed up with the nonsense being mulled over day by day, and indeed, the impression I get is that most Conservative MPs feel that way as well.

So while I strongly disagree with these tactics and believe that they shouldn’t be allowed any success, it is clear that he has to go because the PM simply cannot address the things that matter when all the talk in the media and in the Commons is about what matters little.

I think that’s a shame because BJ has a vision for this country. He knows how to make Brexit work (which most Opposition MPs and remainers are clueless about), he knows how to level up this country for the benefit of people in deprived areas of the country (whereas Opposition members have questioned what levelling up actually means), he knows how to deal with Putin and has the moral backbone to sort it out (much respected by the Ukrainian President), he knows how to tackle the crisis in social care and has set aside funds to deal with that in a couple of years (using those funds in the meantime to bring down hospital waiting lists) and so on.

Yet all the Opposition and media can talk about, indeed all that they are obsessed with, is parties and other minor issues.

When he goes, who else would be able to see the government agenda through? It’s a huge task and one that BJ was up to achieving. Who else can do it?

I hope to God that someone can, because that’s what I, and all Conservative voters, voted for. However, it’s exactly what the Opposition MPs don’t want, which I find incredible.
