I don't think a single one of them is near £100,000k. Hardly big, big money...

Yes thenry. I know £50,000 is a lot of money. In the context of upper Premiership football wages it is not a lot of money. 'Big Big money' is self-evident whenever we talk about football, I thought you meant big and big as in unusual.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
if you throw efficiency in it then its a lot. regardless of elite, i do hope the contracts are not simple 50odd k pw and instead have clauses in for the total to amount to that.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Just to comment on the news Den linked earlier about the Zenit St Petersburg fans wanting black and gay players excluded.
Congratulations to all members of FIFA that voted this country to host a World Cup, give yourselves a massive pat on the back and say job well done. Let's let Serbia host a World cup whilst you're at it Mr Blatter. Oh wait, we gave that World cup to a country that imprisons homosexuals.
Sarcasm indeed to reflect on two truly unbelievable choices from the walking moneybags at FIFA.

Mr Sepp Blatter’s advice to any gays thinking of supporting their country in the Middle East was to refrain from doing what comes naturally to them.

Most controversial World Cup in history guaranteed and it won't be the football that's controversial.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Cool, thanks.
I hope we get Milan, a team we should beat but will feel like a proper champions league tie. The obvious one to avoid is Madrid...

Don't underestimate Milan Shadow as they are coming into good form and could well be a different proposition compared to earlier in the season.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Porto vs Man Utd and Arsenal vs Malaga will suit me plus for Celtic l think Schalke would be a nice draw.
