Remy has been looked at for years by so many clubs but they've never gone through with it. It is be interesting to see what happens. He has a heart condition which had worried some but not enough to fail a medical.

But Theo isn't worth what he is asking for each week. I wouldn't even give him 10% of his current contract, he is selfish, over rated and as far as I'm concerned can leave Arsenal for a club who is willing to pay him to sit on the bench week in week out.

None of all actually know what his wage demands are and as we know in all contract negotiations there is a degree of brinkmanship on both sides.

He is worth around £70,000-80,000 I guess, but not £100,000.

Yes l don't disagree with that as Liverpool are paying Daniel Sturridge around £60,000 and is he that much better then Sturridge.

Tito Vilanova has reportedly had a re-occurrence of his cancer and Barcelona are, again according only to rumours, looking for a replacement for the rest of the season. Guardiola returning?

Just about everywhere else reporting it also. Club have said it has nothing to with the Demba Ba saga but that remains to be seen.

Remys a real spark. I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up at Newcastle depending of course if fees can be agreed.

5 Arsenal players have signed new contracts! All British.

Biggest one is Wilshere who has signed a 5 year deal from the end of this season. (so 5 years starting this Summer). Then we also added Ox, Ramsey, Gibbs and Jenkinson. Arsenal's new team going forward will be based on this British core it seems with Wenger wanting Walcott to join them.

Very pleased. Wilshere is an obvious asset and 5 years is a great signing. He won't be leaving on a free whatever happens. Jenkinson could be very good and England's first choice right back in the future, his progress has been amazing in just one year. Think how much of the future England team will have grown up, trained and played together!
