Nope, they'd be heading north, north east if it was the BBMF, plus only one of these were in standard camoflague

got the same at work myself, lately I've seen a chinook at something like 250m above ground....bit loud.
also seen quite a few Apache's Puma's, Lynx and Merlins flying about here

That'll be after they head north from here.. yep forgot to mention the chinooks, quite impressive when they're banking low over the village..
Problem is that when they're low you never have enough time to grab the camera

I was in the park with my Nephew & Niece, and I saw an Apache Longbow fly overhead, made one hell of a racket.

Just found out that it's the Catalina based at Duxford, it's on a Duxford>Culdrose with it coming back on the 29th, will see if perhaps I can get the video camera ready for the return

can anyone identify this plane? It is one Amy Johnson worked on at Portsmouth Aviation in the 30's.
