He just has this thing about playing the lower teams where he gets cocky and puts in 4 or 5 reserves. It throws the balance of the team out.

Thanks Punky
anyway
Shocking result and a shocking performance and whoever was supposed to have been marking the chap that scored the second goal needs a good shoeing Norwich City deserved the win and good luck to them for the rest of the season, we need people like Delia to keep us entertained in the Premiership cos my boys aren't doing that at the moment they couldn't beat a one legged man in an arse kicking competition
Chelski deserve the Premiership crown and I say well done to them, funny how I don't mind them taking the title this season but if it was the Gooners I'd be ranting and raving big style

Hehe, I know that. Utter shambles from start to finish.
The players aren't fit to wear the shirt, the manager's not fit to manage them, and the chairman can f off as well.

Re: [Merged] Football talk
very poor team to field started with only about 8 players and no midfield which has been the problem all season.. their keeper didn't have to make one save..
with a midfield of Fortune, Scholes, Phil Neville and Kleberson we only had one midfielder, Scholes.. The others aren't even good enough to be an United and with Scholes having another off day this season it's no wonder we lost

Re: [Merged] Football talk
Can you do one for the reds as well. Mind you, they're beyond hope I suppose.
Megson's latest excuse... "one of the players is putting the team on a website the day before the game". I jest not.
Plus I fully expect Sheff U to hammer us tomorrow.

The Inter v Milan game was abandoned due to crowd trouble. Milan keeper Dida was hit by a flare. There were flares and bottles raining down everywhere!
Inter are going to be in some trouble.

Re: [Merged] Football talk
So Chelsea go through - I'm certainly not comfortable with them having this level of success.

Can you imagine the uproar and disgrace if this was English fans that had done this, we'd be the scandal of Europe
however well done to Chelski, the blues march on and I'd say are looking worth a small wager that they will be the new European Champions

Re: [Merged] Football talk
There was a lot of trouble in Italy at the weekend as well.
Lazio got a â‚ ¬25,445 fine and an official warning for racist chants
Ternana got a â‚ ¬29,935 fine after missiles were thrown at opposing fans and police.
There was also trouble at games in Rome, Palermo, Udine, Cava dei Tirreni and Perugia. Italys interior minister said stadiums could be shut down if violence continues

Re: [Merged] Football talk
Yeah, shocking scenes from the San Siro... was warned by a mate to expect this - Italian fans have been doing it for years - however, they seem to confine this hooliganism to their own country, they don't tend to bring it abroad - which is why I think the English recieve so much criticism.
Worried for the scousers tommorow, I know they'r a rough bunch but my mate says it's highly likely there will be a massacre as revenge
