Powerline should still be supported by the hardware, this is why the PSU connects to the box using a DIN connector.

Powerline is still possible in hardware and current software however it will no longer be supported in future software revisions.
Is this the information you wanted?
Powerline for Sky Q is dead (unofficially - not opinion!) although it's unlikely to ever be official as support was NEVER official.

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
Sky and BT have announced a deal that will allow the rival broadcasters to sell their channels on each others' platforms.
Under the terms of the agreement, BT will wholesale its BT Sport channels to Sky, allowing the firm to sell them directly to Sky satellite customers.
This will mean BT's live UEFA Champions League and Premier League football being made available on the Sky platform.
BT has spent north of £3.5 billion on Champions League and Premier League football rights since 2012 in a bid to compete with Sky.
The deal between the two giants will also see BT "market and sell" Sky's Now TV service to its customers.

Sky takes on Netflix and Amazon with cheaper streaming.

Sky is taking the fight to rivals Netflix and Amazon Video with the launch of a low-cost plug-in stick that will provide access to its films, television shows and live sport such as Premier League matches on any TV set.

Sky takes on Netflix with original film commissions and exclusive rights.

Sky is to start buying up the exclusive rights to big budget films, as well and commissioning its own, in a major escalation of its content war with Amazon and Netflix.

Strange as generally the more you shift the cheaper it gets but obviously that does not apply to that.

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
I find it very strange that Eurosport 3,4 and 5HD will be on Virgin and BT but not on Sky. Does anyone know the real reason for this?
I think they will get a lot of complaints from those of their subscribers who are sports fans.

Can't say for sure however seen reports this evening that whilst the channels won't appear on SKY all the events broadcast on the pop up channels will be available on demand / catch up on SKY. It's possible SKY have been offered the channels at a price but SKY feel the combination of coverage from the BBC, Eurosport 1 & 2 plus on demand is sufficient. Another key factor could be the fact that around 70% of the live events take place between midnight and 8am. SKY know their audience pretty well. It's possible they know there will be little appetite from the majority of their subscription base to stay up through the night to watch the events. Maybe they figured people are going to record content and watch it in the morning. If that's the case customers can watch the pop up channel content on demand / catch up instead.
I'm just sumising. Certainly seen nothing to suggest the channels have been withheld.

Yes, and I guess it does make sense provided all the content is available on demand, if indeed it is.
