Re: New Combi Boiler - Any recommendations?

I have now retired, after about 50 years in the trade, and have fitted, all the said makes, the Worcster combi is the best IMO, but if your on a tight budget, go for the Baxi, its very close to the Worcster for reliabilty, PM me if you want any further opinions

Vaillant are highly rated, surprised no one has mentioned them. Replaced our old Worcester Heat Slave with a Vaillant Combi and summer gas bills have tumbled.

Re: New Combi Boiler - Any recommendations?

I would have to reccomend Worcestor as well.
As someone suggested you will have to go for a condensing one now, unless there are mitigating circumstances..... And the corgi word this basically means that unless ur changing an old back boiler in a fireplace and have nowhere else to out one then you will need a condensing boiler.

Phew - glad you mentioned the back boilers - that's what I have, and although I had it replaced a couple of years ago, I was wondering what would happen if it needed changing again. There's no where else to put one in my tiny 2 bed terrace!
