Re: Quick - SSX 3 for £24.99
Looking forward to Amped2 the most. I haven't had a go yet with SSX3 and probably won't until I've finished off Time Crisis 3 or RS3 comes.

No need really as you can trade replays Did you hear that ? I love the music feature in it aswell as you can skip tracks with the white button and theres custom soundtracks. I suggest you get some decent CD's on your xbox boom as the music they provide is dire to be honest

I'm sure there's a volume selector so I can turn the music down.
How long do the replays last? Very cool if you can trade at least a minute's worth.

Really not sure about replay length. I hope the controls are similiar to SSX otherwise you will hate this game for a couple of days as the controls take some getting used too. I should have sent you amped if you hadnt already played it. Guess you will have to learn the hard way

I'm not worried about controls, unless there is a lot of use of the white and black buttons, which are always hard to reach. I can understand it being difficult if it's all about timing.
Haven't even opened SSX3 yet. It's not going to see the light of day for a bit yet.
BTW, going up to Milton Keynes to try out boarding in January cause I'm going boarding (if I like it) or skiing in February. Using a mate's old board. I have this feeling I'm going to suck at it as I can't skateboard or wind surf, but I'm told it shouldn't be too hard as I'm a skier. Just a different body position.

Re: Quick - SSX 3 for £24.99
get someone to record you please would make funny viewing It is not like skiing at all really, the only thing they have incommon is that they both need snow or a snow substitute Aslong as you keep all your weight on your front foot you should be fine, and also dont be afraid to fall as you really do need to sometimes. Turning on a board scared the crap out of me the 1st time as i wasnt confident so i put my weight on my back foot and couldnt turn so i ended up shooting down the moutain and crashing spectacularly into someone on skis, they didnt see the funny side of it Aslong as your confident its easy.

Snow sports are great fun, you either dont get injured at all as the snow absorbs the impact of the fall or you getting really horrific injuries like broken legs and stuff Lucky for me i came away unscathed

No recording during my first runs indoors. Will have the camcorder at hand though when going down the slopes and off-piste.
