Other people report more significant problems such as download stalling/ pausing and modem rebooting - but it generally agreed this is not just a modem problem (ntl cable or router issue for example).
My SB3100 which has a half duplex port was useless at browsing when downloading at full speed(5-6mb) in newsgroups. So i would say it's not really 10Mb compatible. Get it changed somehow

Re: Getting a Teryon 210 changed ?

i phoned up on tuesday, spoke to some guy who had several excuses cant remember them now usuall stuff, rain, wind, god, firewalls etc. Anyway he went away and said he would look at my rebooting history?? anyway I dont know what he found but as soon as he cam back he put me straight through to someone to get an engineer out (hopefull of a replacment), however you never know tho. But someone techy at last I hope, who may actually know whats going on.

Usally I do have a router however thats been out of the equasion for about 2 weeks now (physically disconnected) and if I rememeber right it has a full 100mb wan port (linksys) however thats my net mail to check.

Anyone got any further advice would love to hear from you guys and ps the probs discussed over is what iv been having just didnt realise anyone else was they gave me the impression it was only me (yeh I should have known) and coudnt put my finger on it at the time.

I have this modem too. It years old now. Upgraded to 10MB and I can get a steady 1.05MB per second through it no problems if downloading multiple files. Am very happy and will stay with it for now.
