Unbelievable!!!!!!
Within 2 minutes of you getting involved, the problem is sorted! I am (almost) speechless!
Thanks a million!
You should be promoted to head of NTL customer services. I've spoken to 3 different people at NTL over the past couple of days, and nothing happens. Then in steps Jimbo, and voila!
Best Wishes

Why not call them back and ask for 'advice'.

No need, Jimbo sorted it out over the weekend (see above in thread) ;-)

Hello,
I have been having the same problem. I plugged back in and held the up and down arrows and go the "DIAG" screens. Page 9 status monitoring has "Tuning parameters corrupt" error 16 as one of the first entries followed later on by "Post RS Error x2 459000" error 302 as well as "Lost OOB Lock" error 167. Are these relevant to the reason why I cannot get any channels other than the very basic channels... not even sky one or e4? Is there anything I can do or do I have to call CS?
Yours in hope,
Mike

mikerouse to Cable Forum
I'm assuming you have only recently been installed?
You do need to call CS in the first instance. They can do some basic diagnostics from theri end to see that there is a connection. The software may need to be resent, or there might be something more fundamental. We have no way of telling from here, so give them a call in the morning.

Sounds like a call to customer services is in order.
Don't you even get channel 5 and BBC 3,4 and News 24?? I'm new to this, so forgive me if I'm wrong, but I'm guessing that the smart card hasn't been assigned to that particular set top box. Not sure though. Customer services on 0800 052 2000 should be able to help though.
