Well i'm pretty sure if people didnt play with magnets everyday life would be a whole lot different.
washer, dryer, hoover, tv, pc, car, the list is endless

they don't all have neodymium magnets in.... in fact the only thing i can think of that does it my sony headphones...

I remember reading an account of a guy who had decided to place a neodymium magnet on either side of his scrotum......he had to resort to a couple of pliers to prise them off
