Re: Evri and DHL to Merge
To be fair Evri and Amazon tend to leave parcels in unsafe locations. The trick is to play the game back at them. Report lost and give them feedback accordingly. They normally state workload as an excuse but it's not my fault they are doing a job they can't handle. They do however manage to deliver in the ETA and Evri take a picture.

Re: Evri and DHL to Merge
2 online companies we use have switched from EVRI to Parcelforce as they had so many complaints about lost or delayed deliveries. Since then, everything has been fine in our case.

Re: Evri and DHL to Merge
With all of these companies, so much depends on who your driver is. If you get a good one locally, things will be good. But you can usually tell if you don’t have a regular driver, or if your usual guy goes on holiday and someone else covers the route. That’s when things start taking a day longer to arrive, or they leave stuff in weird places (or at the wrong house).
At our old house, Parcel Farce were the worst of the lot because the driver was a lazy #!*$! who couldn’t be bothered doing the more rural stretches of his route. He used to go as far as the local Royal Mail delivery office in the village about 12 miles from us, leave the parcels there, and then slip a ‘sorry i missed you’ card in with our mail, which the postman would pick up and deliver to us the next day.

Any evidence for that assertion? My deliveries from EVRI have always been spot on.

Plenty, from my housing estate’s facebook group, which carries at least one ‘whose front door is this because it’s not mine’ post each week, including the P.O.D. photo.
You’re reading the thread selectively as per, and failing to account for nuance and humour versus more serious critique. Perhaps you failed to read my most recent post in this thread (prior to this one):

Re: Evri and DHL to Merge
Bought some creatine gummies on eBay this afternoon, some really good quality ones for a decent price so I’ve been looking forward to these.
Then 5 minutes ago my heart sank as this email came through.

I have not had an issue with any of them for a long while.
