Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
Was his cancer diagnosis widely reported? I never knew. All I think of is his DHL royalty for life.
Rest in peace. He seemed like a gentleman full of life when interviewed on the grid.

Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
Its taken him one race to get to grips with a Ferrari. He is truly talented. I still see him as a prospect though. A young lad.
I'm going to miss the sprint but I'll get up for qauli, like this mornings sprint shootout and the race Sunday is not stupid o'clock.

I'm hoping when I wake up I'll be able to wiz through the sprint race via F1 TV Pro, but I'm expecting to see spoilers so it's going to be difficult and I don't want to miss the main qualifying at 7am so if I get to watch the Sprint before qualifying it's likely a 6am wake-up.
Can't see myself staying awake until 3am for the 30min sprint.

Na sod that it'll ruin your body clock. Watch the sprint highlights available on YouTube first thing then a full viewing later on in the day.

I ended up waking up at 3.15am anyway probably because I knew the Sprint was on so said sod it and watched the full sprint from the start which took 15mins, then slept again.
Then I wakeup at 7am blurry eyed and ended up watching the whole of the qualify for the main event so now I'm completely knackered and hopefully won't do the same tomorrow morning, however I'm on early shift all next week so I have to wake up at 5am anyway so it may help a little.

Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
My plan was to record the sprint and wake up about 7, watch the sprint and watch qualifying on delay (knowing with the gaps between the sessions and lulls I’d probably be live by Q3.
In reality I woke up at 2.50 anyway, watched the sprint and woke up at 7.20, so skipped bits and was live by Q3 as planned.
Not big gaps at the front, and everyone looks prone to losing a few tenths here and there with a bad line so be interesting to see how the race goes if drivers are under pressure.

Wake up for the race tomorrow. Lights out at 7am. It's not so bad.
I woke for qauli but feel asleep for Q3 lol

Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
I don't have sky sports, I cancelled it to save money as I stopped watching F1 in 2020.
I haven't really missed it.
I'll possibly go back when CH and Maxident both leave f1

Years away then, don't let people or teams you don't like stop you watching F1 otherwise you will be waiting forever!
So far Red Bull isn't the dominant team this year it's proving to be exciting what with Lewis moving to Ferrari and getting a sprint win and Oscar getting Pole.

Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
I've lost my faith in F1 at the moment, so a break is needed.
