I did a fish curry last night. Didn't quite have right fish (too thin) but worked well.
For 500g fish


1)Coat fish in 1:1 mix of tumeric and salt.
2)Fry in mustard oil until pale yellow.
3)Set fish aside, clean out pan.
4)Put 1 onion, 2 garlic cloves , 1 chilli and smallish piece ginger in blender -> paste.
5)Dry fry paste until golden.
6)Take off heat, put fish back in with water (2-300ml) and cook through.


Serve with chapatti.
