No need to shout, the facts are there if anyone would only look, for a start 70% of the catering rights are going to the taxpayer which is millions per season as are the first 4 million of the naming rights any after is split 50- 50, the rent is index linked at the higher rate and there is various other clauses related to performance and if the club is sold.

Why when the answers are already out there, you're being sucked in by a politician playing games

I don't even understand why there is a inquiry .Sadiq Khan must be at a lose end ....or a Millwall fan .West Ham and UK Athletics are the biggest tenants ,West Ham for 25 days a year with the option for longer dependant on cup runs but they pay more... £100,000 per game on top of the £2.5m ,they also pay more the higher up in the premiership they finish. Those are cumulative costs rising to £1 million should they win the premiership.Naming rights are also a big earner for LLDC with the stadium taking the bulk of any naming deal .On top of West Hams deal there is also UK Athletics ,concerts, international rugby, baseball etc ,etc, all the above are making regular use of the stadium earning the tax payer money for what ,going on past history ,could have been a big fat white elephant

In this case you are all you and other have seen is a headline "tax payer paying for premiership club ground" which is so far from the actual facts as to be laughable

Because the cost rose £31 million I think. Khan is an Arsenal fan, as he should be.

So what, that is peanuts compared to what the stadium will earn in it's lifetime.I think the bigger and better question is what will the inquiry cost and what purpose will it serve ,the answers are quite a lot and none

It's not really peanuts. http://news.sky.com/story/sadiq-khan...-cost-10642018

Quote:
The taxpayer-funded cost of turning the icon of the London Games into a football stadium for West Ham has risen from £272m to £323m.
That's around a 20% increase. And even then the £272m was an increase from £154m when the deal was signed and we're talking about conversion costs here, not the price of the stadium being built originally. Only £15 million of that is being paid by West Ham and the rest by the tax payer.

It's also not clear how it's actually going to be earning: https://www.theguardian.com/sport/20...ating-problems

You can be if you and the others aren't aquainted with the facts, everyone other than marty appears to be relying on Barry hearn for their information
