The key is MM instead of the current inertia which quite a few customers seem to display is that a customer must phone up to barter for a better deal as l find that approach works pretty well although if a customer phones up shouting the odds that simply does not work as the best approach is always to be polite , clear and concise and even write down what you are going to say and what the other competitors are offering as well and then its up to them to offer a better deal and if they don't do that then the final thing to do is to have in a 30 day notice and generally in a lot of cases they will suddenly come back with a better deal..

And even then you may still not get a deal , with all retentions it's a lottery. For many then the only option is move on.

Many these days just don't find the full advertised price value for money and are prepared to walk away with some even prepared to quit pay tv completely.
