That would imply that Islam is the real underlying problem and NOT actions taken by the West.

Re: Terrorism in London?
This one was captured alive, perhaps we'll get to see if he was opportunistic or more hard core.
Judging from the methodology/weapon used/watching the video, looks to be a terrorist walt wanting fame.
We'll see in due course.

It is perverse - as perverse as pro-life people who shoot up and kill people at Planned Parenthood clinics.

Not really as the pro-lifers want to stop more killing, but the "retaliators" and their many supporters want the killing to continue unabated.

Re: Terrorism in London?
I am sure that makes the victims of the pro-life shooters feel much better about it...

As opposed to the unborn babies that "feel" pain when they are ripped apart by the abortion process?
Link
Quote:
THOUSANDS of abortions may cause pain to the unborn child, say doctors preparing to debate the contentious issue of "foetal awareness".Prof Vivette Glover, of London, is calling for all terminations between 17 and 24 weeks to be performed under anaesthetic. Although 90 per cent of terminations take place before 13 weeks, when most medical opinion agrees that a foetus cannot feel pain, concern has resurfaced about those carried out during the next 11 weeks. At present, some abortions during the period of 13 to 24 weeks are carried out without anaesthesia.
|
Research has found that they do feel pain at 20 weeks. The 20 weeks is only because they didn't look earlier, so it may well start before then.

Re: Terrorism in London?
What Planned Parenthood actually do
Quote:
Planned Parenthood health centers focus on prevention: 80 percent of our clients receive services to prevent unintended pregnancy.
Planned Parenthood services help prevent approximately 516,000 unintended pregnancies each year.
Planned Parenthood provides nearly 400,000 Pap tests and nearly 500,000 breast exams each year, critical services in detecting cancer.
Planned Parenthood provides nearly 4.5 million tests and treatments for sexually transmitted infections, including 700,00 HIV tests.
Three percent of all Planned Parenthood health services are abortion services.
Planned Parenthood affiliates provide educational programs and outreach to 1.5 million young people and adults each year.
|
Everything Planned Parenthood do is legal, and attacking their workers and patients is illegal.
It just seems strange that people justify the actions of religious fundamentalists using a perverted version of their faith to justify killing people...

Re: Terrorism in London?
Taf, you are totally correct. I think the biggest problem is that even though this mad idiot was going through the station with a knife, there were still people desperate to get to the train.
And that insane woman going towards the police officer who had they guy on the floor, what was she playing at.
I would say well done to the cops for bringing the guy under restraint.

Re: Terrorism in London?
Leytonstone Tube Station.... This is not a terrorist act, it is some poor deranged black guy who is not even a muslim going off the rails.
The woman who approached the guy on the floor was probably very upset and shouting some choice words at him.

I've used the London Underground enough times to learn to ignore the mad ranters. Maybe I'll have to change tack and start watching for weapons and listening for muslim phrases....

Re: Terrorism in London?
The context of the event makes it very unlikely it was at the officer.
