Re: Routers for modem mode on a budget
Hi,
For under £50 on Amazon you can pick-up a Netgear WNR2000-200UKS N300 router.
It is easy to setup and prompts when firmware updates are available and can download and install those updates from within the web-based administration pages.

Not worth £40 considering what is on offer for a little more.

The choice is yours though.

If the c5 has 3 aerials, then it is the identical hardware as c7. I can post the instructions how to flash it to make it c7. Note that thec5 v2 is not the same as c7

Re: Routers for modem mode on a budget
What are your feature/function requirement? simultaneous bands, ac, usb 2.0/3.0, gigabit, ability to run third party firmware, antennas internal/external, lights... ?

Re: Routers for modem mode on a budget
Similar to what superhub 2 has mate ac ain't important as most things on network are still n
And not cause problems for my Xbox which is happening at present. And must be good for future

Re: Routers for modem mode on a budget
future proofing will cost you extra. will something solid but basic do you? gigabit ports, simultaneous bands at any specific link rate? usb port(s)?
