How come nobody has told me about this before ? Pages load quicker aswell without the ads. Do get some snooty messages with all sort of threats/pleas from some websites to allow ads or they'll kill me or they'll starve, but stuff them. I wouldn't mind one ad on a page - but when there are 20 (maybe I visit the wrong sites...)

Just installed it on Chromebook
will report back

Re: Adblock - brilliant
Never really tried it as I use Kaspersky Pure which has an anti-banner built-in which does the job.

AdBlock+ and its companion the "Element Hiding Helper"
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...jfbonifbhiglao
are the first two extensions I add to a new chrome install.
Followed closely by "Enable Mouse Click" and "Session Manager".

Re: Adblock - brilliant
iirc, donators to the forum were promsed no ads but for some reason or other that only lasted for a little while. Still, adblock does the job just as well

what are you on about? It still blocks ads on Youtube
You must have the box ticked to allow 'non intrusive adverts' [Mod Edit]

I did that - I'm sure they were blocked for quite a long time.
Kaspersky blocks my ads.

Re: Adblock - brilliant
You don't get the advert videos where you have to "Skip Ad" in youtube in IE?
