Only if you are on the legacy BB M 20Mbit

Those on BB L 20Mbit will pay the same as those on BB L 30Mbit

I would be very surprised if that was still the case. Do you not think you'd be worth calling retentions and seeing if they can give you a better deal? They certainly can't make it any more expensive.

But is L20 getting upgraded to L30 at all? If not, it would silly to charge the same otherwise.

Re: Rascals

Wow what a joke I have never heard of Virgin taking your old modem before. What are they going to do with it?

GIVE IT TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER???

That's an absolute joke I would be furious too!

No, they would scrap it as anything predating the Superhub 1 is technically obsolete equipment and won't be reused on the network.

Not worth calling Retentions - I don't have or want a landline from Virgin Media.

Re: Rascals

....so? That has nothing to do with what retentions can offer you. Seriously ring them up and tell them you're thinking of leaving, they might offer you something. Even if you don't have a landline they can offer plenty of discounts.

Re: Rascals

Good advice Kush, retentions are not there to sell you anything more than what you have (although they may offer extras) but are there to keep you as a customer.

Yes, but you need a SuperHub for it, whereas L20 is for the older modems, so it's opt in.
