Re: Three's Ultrafast DC-HSDPA+ Network
did you get through to second line support? they're the people you really want to talk to and they're the people who can really check whats wrong (if anything). You're not going to be able to get through to them straight away, but call 333 up tomorrow and get through to the problems with network department and ask to get a call back from 2nd line support, they should call you back wihin 7 days (usually before).
Have you also checked your computer for adware or spyware, or possibly a virus. Have you checked if any software which may be using high bandwidth is running such as utorrent, bittorrent?
Is anyone else sharing your connection in your home, or anywhere else?

Re: Three's Ultrafast DC-HSDPA+ Network
I will try again just send them problem description and have to wait 5 days for answer. Brand new laptop bought 2 weeks ago, Windows 8. Have switched off all firewalls and antivirus to check. Nothing changed but ... I tell you very interesting thing. I took my sim card from old modem and put into a new one. Everything ok, did 10 tests on speedtest.net and 9 of them ping 57 ms one 58 ms and 18.01 Mb every time. Put new sim card back and everything goes mad again, every test different from 2 Mb to 36 Mb and unacceptable ping up to 180 ms. That is strange but there must be something about the sim card.
By the way ... I had Virgin before (line) and after few months they send me email "They are sorry I want to resign from service, and my phone line and broadband will be switched off at date ....". I never wanted to cancel Virgin, told them send many emails and rang them. The date they said they switched me off and charged about 90 pounds for terminating my contract ... I would like to come back to Virgin but have bad experience and customer service is horrible. Don't want to say to much but many of them don't understand english and have no idea about networking.

Re: Three's Ultrafast DC-HSDPA+ Network
so if the other sim card seems to work fine, let them know you're having a problem with the current sim card, just tell them its somehow damaged, they'll send you out a new one and see if that works.

Re: Three's Ultrafast DC-HSDPA+ Network
I left it... only thing I will do is flushing my modem in toilet .. ordered DSL from BT will be active at 8th of April. Ultrafast is good for "tourists" usage not for home broadband ... Thanks for your help but I lost all my nerves ....

Re: Three's Ultrafast DC-HSDPA+ Network
Seem to get consistant pings with my non-4g phone.
Unlimited data 3g and steady latency shows how good Three can be without using 4g.

Re: Three's Ultrafast DC-HSDPA+ Network
Hopefully they roll out dc-hsdpa here shortly, It was supposed to be Q1. Although up to about 15Mbps is not bad for hspa+ compared to the 5-6max I was seeing through O2.
