Re: Alternative F1 TV

19.2E is where the old analogue dishes were pointed when Sky first came out.. If you have a dish pointing towards Sky/Freesat then you'd have to move it slightly right (9 degrees) and very slightly down (about 1-2 degrees)

Personally I have a mutant (a bit like a dreambox and runs the same type of software) that I have a 1m dish on a diseqc motor.. means I can get any of the sats with a footprint covering the UK.

Remember guys that this is about FTA access which is licensed to be picked up anywhere that the footprint covers, there is no encryption and there's nothing illegal in viewing these channels

Re: Alternative F1 TV

If your dish is mounted to a vertical pole then yes as the diseqc motor just goes between the pole and dish. Not every box though is diseqc compatible, your dreambox though will be..

You will need a sat meter to set it all up.. as the settings (especially the polar settings) will be dependant on your latitude north..

For those interested in motor racing with an FTA system Servus TV on 19.2E has the Nascar Sprint cup from Phoenix on the 5th March on SD and HD with English commentary.
