Re: how to

Have you tried to transfer a programme using the "V+" button on your V+ remote? ie Press V+ button and select V+ Extras, choose Copy to VCR/DVD ... and had you pressed the "record" button on your Recorder Remote?

Re: how to

You say a programme is showing, that will not normally happen as you will only see the programme playing on the screen if you opted to watch a recorded programme.

Did you select that programme to to be copied on a screen that is headed COPY TO VCR/DVD and did you then follow the instructions to press record on your recorder then see the screen with the red bars showing that archiving was taking place?

Re: how to

Right so it just seems to be DVD recorder settings that are causing the problem. I have tried to find a copy of your manual but have had no success and reading up on your Recorder model on the net shows that although everyone sings the praises for the recorder itself, the manual is given the thumbs down and the kindest comment says that it is Gibberish

So ... it will be trial and error unless you feel up to braving LG Support. Here's the link where you can even get live support on line, or by phone.

http://www.lg.com/uk/support/product...roduct-profile

Do you have more than one scart "input" socket on the recorder if so is there a number on them ie av1 av2 etc?

Re: how to

Good luck wc. If you don't get anywhere with the Support Desk we can try again so don't give up if you run up against a brick wall with the manufacturer. Fingers crossed for you.

Re: how to

That is a very good outcome wheelchair. I am pleased to hear you are sorted.

Thanks for posting LG's response as, reading a lot of the posts on the internet about the problems a fair few owners of the DRT389H LG DVD Recorder have had setting their recorder to work with the V+, I am sure other owners will find the instructions helpful.

Happy viewing in the coming weeks and I hope you continue to look in and see what we are up to on CF in the coming year.
