An excellent point. Ivy Bridge won't be reaching the mainstream until March/April next year, and then you'll be waiting for whatever comes next 6-12 months after that...

Might as well buy something and use/enjoy it instead of perpetually waiting for the next big thing ad infinitum.

After looking at the bank etc... and thinking about it I have decided to get the XFX ATI Radeon 6870 1024MB GDDR5 PCIe graphic card.

BTW, I have the GTX 580 not the GTX 480.
