Re: Tivo cant use digisender or archive to scart

Without knowing exactly what connections your TV etc has, and exactly what you want to do, it's hard to advise. But my best guess would be something like:

In living room:
TiVo->TV#1 (HDMI)
TiVo->sender (SCART)
DVD/VCR->PVR->TV#1 (SCART)

Then upstairs:
sender->TV#2 (SCART)

You'd need to use a SCART splitter if you also want to record on the PVR from the TiVo or if TV#1 doesn't have an HDMI input.

Hi,
Thank you very much, that confirms what I had thought, I will probably include a new TV in the set so not absolutely sure what connections will be available.

Does anyone know if this is still a bug?? I'm thinking of getting a Tivo at present I have V+ connected to my digisender using scart and from my sender to my Main TV its connected using a scart (even though my tv is HD ready and has loads of HDMI). My secoind telly upstairs has a receiver which is connected to it via scart.

Re: Tivo cant use digisender or archive to scart

It's fixed in the software update that is currently on trial. Although it's not in your region yet, because of the current backlog of TiVo installs, the chances are the software would be available before you could get a Tivo.

Also bear in mind that the bug doesn't affect most people anyway.
