The joys of an allotment, the abundance of fresh herbs. I very rarely use the dried stuff if I can help it. I have to be very careful with spices, they tend to kill me (Crohn's).
English food can be very bland so I try to use what I can to make things more palatable and a bit more different (anything to help with a non existent appetite) as I don't get to eat much normally due to the Crohns.

No my friend has Crohns and it is very difficult for sufferers of it and what they can eat.

A nice steak done extremely rare (or blue) topped with some nice fresh calamari rings in a light batter then served with a nice fresh salad..

Home made Scotch Broth with thickly cut home made crusty, seeded bread followed by a Traditional Sunday Roast Beef dinner. There's no room for a dessert for a couple of hours
