Yes this is very true and if I remember correctly from the post they said that it was going to be app based, Also have about 24/25 interactive streams for different sports. So as DF says it will be very amazing

Just hope we don't have to wait until the Olympics to get access to Red button services

Re: BBC Red Button service on TiVo?

Wimbledon starting next week, and still no BBC Red Button service - beginning to wish I'd never bothered with TiVo.

Any more news on when this will be available ? Is it linked to the Sky Red Button service, or are they being worked on separately ?

Frustrated sports fan...............

All very well, but the Olympics are still more than a year away.

The BBC seem to be supporting apps for mobile and now other platforms - see http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/apps...es-news-app-tv

How about something like this for Tivo?

Re: BBC Red Button service on TiVo?

hi - am considering Tivo - but are we saying that apart from BBC iPlayer, there is no red button functionality

The part that concerns me most is F1 - as all the practise sessions are on the red button, and without that, Tivo for me is a non-starter.

Does your TV have built in freeview that you could possibly use? That's what I do if I don't wanna shift upstairs.
