Moving dry air will build up a static charge on any component that is an insulator.
A hefty static charge *could* build up in your hoover and be discharged to ground through your computer components.
I wouldn't risk it anyway. YMMV.

I wouldnt get a metal nozel from a hoover anywhere near my RAM or even a plastic one.
End of the day you need more RAM. See if you can get another stick of 1GB.

You can stop Dyson brushes from rotating while using the hose. Twist the big knob on the rhs of the brush head.

apart from the innuendo, do you have any knowledge regarding the friction of air moving through 'hoover' nozzles producing static charges m'lord?

One way is dust particles moving in a dry airflow.
